American Foreign Policy Within The United Nations: The Israeli-palestinian Conflict

Abstract
Abstarct : The United Nations’ crucial role in maintaining peace and stability since its creation seems to be no more than an idealistic value, which is far from being respected and worked with, especially when it comes to the United States and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The USA, through its foreign policy and financial contributions, manipulates and influences the decisions and outcomes of the United Nations’ subsidiaries, namely the Security Council. The discourse analysis of the different samples of the Security Council’s resolutions and draft resolution disclose the American attitude towards the Israeli Palestinian conflict and confirm the American manipulation of the UN. الملخص ان الدور الموكل للأمم المتحدة منذ نشأتها في الحفاظ على السلام والاستقرار يعد قيمة مثالية، لكن بعيدة كل البعد في ممارساتها عن الواقع الدولي خاصة لما يتعلق الأمر بالولايات المتحدة، والصراع الإسرائيلي – الفلسطيني. حيث تنحاز وتؤثر الادارات الأمريكية المتعاقبة، من خلال سياستها الخارجية ومساهماتها المالية، على القرارات والنتائج لدى للأمم المتحدة والهيئات التابعة لها، وعلى رأسها مجلس الأمن. اذ يكشف تحليل الخطاب لعينات مختلفة من مشاريع وقرارات مجلس الأمن عن المواقف الأمريكية تجاه الصراع الإسرائيلي- الفلسطيني الذي يؤكد هيمنة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية على القرار الأممي.
