The purpose of this paper to study, through zero-dimensional model, in the pure oxygen. A comprehensive simplify model of ozone generation in photo-triggered discharge is presented the plasma is represented by a resistance inversely proportional to the electron density. Time variation of the electron density is obtained by integrating the transport equa tions coupled to the heavy-species kinetics and to the external circuit. The developed kinetic scheme is composed of nine species and twenty one reactions enabled us to study the temporal variation of species created at the moment of discharge. Kinetic analysis is made to study the relative importance of various reactions, the resu lts indicate that the neutral atom of oxygen is the most significant species for the generation of O3, calculated discharge current and voltage are also presented.
