الملخص
Folklore becomes people’s culture and one of the basic and crucial principles that stands for plans of reformations and development especially in the path of nations that try to strengthen and confirm their cultural features. Popular heritage occupies an outstanding rank in the works of Algerian playwrights, that fact may go back to their cultural and intellectual foundations, an example of that Oueld Abdurrahman Kaki, who was inspired by myths and tales, his theatre was attached to popular heritage The social circumstances after the independence required the creation of a new theatre that reflects Algerians hopes; moreover, cope with the huge development that occurs within society, so Abdurrahman kaki was obliged to embrace society and embodies its dimensions.
