This paper aims to clarify the role of strategic intelligence in achieving and promoting sustainable competitive advantage, through to indicate how it contributes to both economic intelligence three elements; strategic vigilance; the protection and security of the institution; the impact ESTABLISHMENT in their environment, so that economic intelligence is interested in management and research and the disposition of the information of the institution in its external environment, while the second component of strategic intelligence, the knowledge management managing and disposition of the information in the internal environment of the institution; so that, through effective and efficient management of knowledge within the institution can the latter to build a sustainable competitive advantage, and through economic intelligence can control and the protection of its competitive advantage and influence in the external environment to make them a source of opportunities for the institution.
