الملخص
With the great technological development and the massive information revolution, a trend has emerged towards transforming traditional cities into smart cities, which is a comprehensive convention for the means of developing and managing cities through modern technologies. This improves the existence of life in it, which will improve its social and living conditions in general. There is no doubt that the greater the technological use and connection to computer networks and the Internet, the greater the probability of hacking attempts, sabotage and data destruction, and therefore the urgent need for cyber security to protect those smart systems from hacking attempts. For example, there may be a breakdown in the smart traffic system, or an attack on electricity or water networks. The study aims to unveil the importance of cyber security or cyber for smart cities, and how the Algerian legislator addressed the dimensions of cyber security and defense. We highlight the topic through the analytical and descriptive approach.
