التسامح الديني لدى محمَّد بن مُصطفى بن الخوجة الجزائري The religious tolerance of Mohamed Ben Mustafa Ben Khoja of Algeria الملخص : لقد واجهت رواد الإصلاح في العالم الإسلامي الحديث جملة من التحديات فكرية وعملية ومن بين هذه التحديات مسألة التعصب الديني و انتشار الإسلام بالقوة والإكراه، الأمر الذي دفع هؤلاء العلماء ،من بينهم ابن الخوجة، للرد على الخصوم في هذا الموضوع وتبديد هذه المزاعم وتفنيدها ، سواء بالتأليف أو الدروس و إلقاء الخطب في المحافل العلمية والنوادي الفكرية و السياسية، ، وهذا لما رأوه لدى كثير من الغربيين مستشرقين وسياسيين، الذين لا يعرفون من الإسلام إلا اسمه ويجهلون أركانه ومبادئه ومقاصده، حيث قام أغلب هؤلاء برمي الإسلام والمسلمين جميعا بالتوحش والتعصب الديني، زاعمين أنّ هذا الدين ينهى المنتسبين إليه عن معاملة غيرهم بالحسنى، فانبرى ابن الخوجة للمساهمة في تبيان المسألة وتحرير الإشكال فيها وتغليطهم مستندا إلى حجج من الإسلام نفسه قرآناً وسنة، و من التاريخ الإسلامي وواقعه المشهود. دون أن ينكر أنّ هناك البعض مِن مَن ينتسبون إلى هذه الشريعة السمحاء قد ارتكب المجازر وأساء للمخالفين باسم هذا الدين العظيم وهو في حقيقة أمره كانت تتحكم فيه الأهواء وحب التسلط لا غير. Abstract: The leaders of reform in the modern Islamic world have faced a number of intellectual and practical challenges, including religious intolerance and the spread of Islam by force and coercion, which have led these scholars, including Ibn al-Khoja, to respond to adversaries on this subject and to dispel and refute these claims, whether by writing or by giving lessons and speeches in scientific forums and intellectual and political clubs, as a consequence to what they have noticed in many western politicians and revelers, whom only know Islam by name and totally disregard its principals. Many of them describe Islam and Muslims to be savages and intolerant to other religions, claiming that Islam forbids its followers from treating others with kindness. Thus, Ibn al- Khoja contributed in clarifying the matter and solving the problem with guidance from the Holy Book of Coran and the sunnah, as well as from reality and Muslim History. Without denying that some of those who are affiliated with this sharia have committed massacres and offended offenders in the name of this great religion, which in fact was controlled only by whims and lust.
