الملخص
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تفسير سر دعم الغرب البروتستانتي لليهود منذ حركة الإصلاح الديني، وحتى قيام دولة إسرائيل على أرض فلسطين تحقيقاً لنبوءات العهد القديم، وتأتي أهمية الدراسة من أن النصوص التوراتية تمثل بعدا أساسيا في سياسة الدول المتبنية للمذهب البروتستانتي في علاقاتها مع إسرائيل، ومن النتائج التي توصلت لها الدراسة: أن المذهب البروتستانتي المستند على نبوءات العهد القديم جعل من اليهود هم شعب الله المختار وأكد على ضرورة عودتهم لأرض الميعاد، إن البروتستانت يمثلون أغلبية مسيحية في كل من بريطانيا وأمريكا لذا نجد الدعم الواضح لليهود من حكومات الدولتين، ومن توصيات هذه الدراسة: على الفصائل الفلسطينية أن تتوحد وتنبذ الخلافات المؤدية لإضعاف الصف الفلسطيني، على المجتمع الدولي أن يفي بالتزاماته تجاه حل الدولتين والتصدي للفيتو الأمريكي المنحاز لإسرائيل في مواجهة قرارات مجلس الأمن ضد الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية بحق الشعب الفلسطيني. This study aimed to explain the secret of the Protestant West's support for the Jews since the religious reform movement, until the establishment of the State of Israel on the land of Palestine, in fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament. The importance of the study comes from the fact that the biblical texts represent an essential dimension in the policy of countries that adopt the Protestant doctrine in their relations with Israel، Among the results of the study: that the Protestant doctrine based on the prophecies of the Old Testament made the Jews the chosen people of God and stressed the necessity of their return to the Promised Land. Protestants represent a Christian majority in both Britain and America, so we find clear support for the Jews from the governments of the two countries, and among the recommendations of this study: The Palestinian factions should unite and renounce the differences that lead to weakening the Palestinian ranks, The international community must fulfill its obligations towards the two-state solution and confront the US biased veto of Israel in the face of Security Council resolutions against the Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.
