الملخص
The topic of Arab Islamic women is the subject of extensive intellectual debates in the humanities and social sciences, ranging from the progressive discourse that calls for its liberation from the restrictions of society with its customs, traditions and values on the one hand, and the proposition that it wants to return to the old patterns of thought and behavior created by social custom on the other hand, and between them lies another proposition that tried to reconcile the two previous propositions to solve the mystery of the clash and confusion between the text or its interpretations that are subject to the sociocultural backgrounds of these societies. This is why we are trying to add a renewed reading, taking into consideration the historical, economic, sociological, and political contexts in which the topic of women and societal norms is brought up, using various methodological approaches, and then approaching an analytical reading that will open a flow of research and new horizons.
