الملخص

إنّ المتتبع للدراسات الاستشراقية حول الشرق المسلم يجدها في تطور وتزايد مستمر، ويلحظ أنّ اهتمامها بالعالم الإسلامي هو اهتمام دقيق لم يتجاوز أي مجال في هذا العالم إلاّ وتناوله بالدرس والبحث الدقيق، ومن الواضح أنّ هذه الدراسات منذ القرن التاسع عشر ميلادي وجّهت بحوثها إلى الحضارة الإسلامية وكلّ ما يتعلّق بمنجزاتها ، فانتشرت الدراسات حول المدينة والعمارة الإسلامية، باعتبارها المظهر المادي للحضارة الإسلامية. ومن المهم من الناحية الأكاديمية أن يكون الباحث مطلعا على الآراء الاستشراقية ، ذلك أنّها بمثابة قراءة للذات في مرآة الآخر، من هنا كانت هذه الدراسة قائمة حول تحليل العلاقة بين المدينة الإسلامية وعمارتها وعرض أهم المواقف الاستشراقية في هذا الموضوع. Abstract: Anyone who follows Orientalist studies of the Muslim East finds it in continuous development and growth, and finds that his interest in the Islamic world is a delicate interest which has not gone beyond any area in this world except for its study and its careful research, and it is clear that these studies since the 19th century AD have directed their research towards Islamic civilization and all that relates to achievements. This civilization and studies have spread over the city and Islamic architecture. Academically, it is important for the researcher to familiarize himself with Orientalist points of view, because they come back to being read in the mirror of the other. Therefore, this study was based on the analysis of the relationship between Medina and Islamic architecture and on the presentation of the most important orientalist positions on this subject.
