الملخص: تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تبيان تأثير مجتمع المعلومات على اللغة العربية، هذا المجتمع الذي يعتمد في تطوره على المعلومة من حيث إنتاجها ومعالجتها وبثها، ولا يتم ذلك إلا باستعمال الحاسبات الآلية وشبكات الاتصال التي جعلت من العالم قرية صغيرة يمكن لأي شخص التواصل مع عدة أشخاص في أماكن مختلفة وفي نفس الوقت، وبالرغم من الأهمية الكبيرة التي أعطاها مجتمع المعلومات لمختلف المجالات والقطاعات إلا أن اللغة العربية كان لها الحظ الأدنى من الاهتمام من قبل هذا التطور على اعتبار أن اللغة الأم في هذا المجتمع هي اللغة الإنجليزية ومن هنا جاءت ورقتي هذه لتبيان واقع اللغة العربية في مجتمع المعلومات. Abstract: This research paper aims to demonstrate the impact of the information society on the Arabic language, a society that depends in its development on information in terms of its production, processing and transmission, and this can only be done by using computers and communication networks that have made the world a small village. Anyone can communicate with several People in different places at the same time, and despite the great importance that the information society has given to the various fields and sectors, the Arabic language has had the slightest chance of interest from this development on the grounds that the mother tongue in this society is the English language.
