Authors : Miloud Khalfallah .

Abstract

With the discontinuation of revelation and the completion of the eternal prophecy, there was no room left for revelation from the Islamic point of view, but the jurists and legislators remained; Muslims proceed from established texts (the Qur’an and Sunnah) to solve emerging problems and debate their era. Islamic jurisprudence has witnessed the emergence of the two great schools of Islamic jurisprudence, the text school in the Hijaz and the school of reason in Iraq ; These two schools of jurisprudence were able to confront the problems of their time and take Islamic jurisprudence forward. Then, Islamic legislation took a step forward, and it is the era of the diligent imams in which jurisprudence and principles reached their zenith. Then followed this era the era of tradition and ijtihad and finally closed the door of ijtihad to launch a legislative and reform renaissance in the modern era, one of its most prominent men in the Islamic world, Muhammad ikbal, who took the position of the scrutinizer, leaning on a deep Islamic and human philosophy
