المفاهيم والمتغيّرات في البحث العلمي

الملخص
يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد ماهية كل من المفاهيم والمتغيّرات في البحث العلمي، لما لها من أهمية في ضبط المعلومات والبيانات التي وجب على الباحث جمعها، وكذلك في ترشيد القارئ إلى المعاني والدلالات اللفظية للمفاهيم المستخدمة في البحث. ويتّفق جمهور الباحثين على أنّ الأبحاث النوعية تتناول الظواهر كمفاهيم يتم استكشافها وفهمها، بينما تتناول الأبحاث الكمّية الظواهر كمتغيّرات يتم تفسيرها والتنبؤ بها. The purpose of this research is to determine the meaning of each of the concepts and variables in scientific research because of its importance in controlling the information and data collected by the researcher, as well as in rationalizing the reader to the meanings and verbal indications of the concepts used in the research. All most researchers agree that qualitative research deals with phenomena, as concepts that are explored and understood, while quantitative research addresses phenomena as variables that are interpreted and predicted.
