Résumé
Abstract The novel is considered a sovereign universe that works with its own logic and laws. Each author has his original way of telling in order to achieve the goals related to the literature : using his imagination, the Reunionese author Axel Gauvin is firmly and actively involved in the fight for equality. In this article, we thought it wise to approach the identity dynamic through the notion of otherness. It is from this view that the individual can re-know himself. We ask ourselves, if the author distinguishes globalization and its consequences on the construction of identity through its text Faims d'enfance. In this perspective, does access to otherness allow one to come back to oneself with a constructive background ? Résumé Le roman est considéré comme un univers souverain qui fonctionne avec sa propre logique et ses propres lois. Chaque auteur a sa façon originale de raconter afin d‟atteindre les buts relatifs à la littérature : faisant appel à son imagination, l‟auteur réunionnais, Axel Gauvin s‟engage fermement et activement dans la lutte pour l‟égalité. Dans cet article, nous avons jugé judicieux d‟approcher la dynamique identitaire à travers la notion d‟altérité. C'est à partir de ce regard que l'individu peut se re-connaître. Nous nous demandons, si l‟auteur distingue-t-il la mondialisation et ses conséquences sur la construction identitaire à travers son texte Faims d’enfance. Dans cette perspective, est-ce que l‟accès à l‟altérité permet de revenir sur soi avec un arrière plan constructif ?
