الملخص
يهدف هذا المقال الى بيان دور عمر بن عبد العزيز السياسي في توحيد الامة في العصر الاموي و موقفه من حركات المعارضة للدولة التي كانت تهدف القضاء عليها لأنها كانت محل كره من بعض الفرق و بالأخص الشيعة و الخوارج ...حيث قاموا بعدة ثورات ضدها طيلة ايام الامويين إذ لا يكاد يخلو عهد خليفة اموي من حركات ثورية بحيث لم تنعم هذه الدولة بالاستقرار الكامل و الامن التام الا في عهده .فكيف استطاع عمر بن عبد العزيز أن يقنع حركات المعارضة التي كانت شوكة في حلق الأمويين من بداية خلافتهم ؟،ومااثر ذلك على الأوضاع العامة للدولة الأموية ؟ وهل كانت طريقة تعامل عمر بن عبد العزيز مع حركات المعارضة و خاصة العلويين ( آل البيت) سببا في بداية ظهور الدعوة العباسية في منطقة الحميمة مستغلة جو التسامح الذي أشاعه عمر بن عبد العزيز في فترة خلافته 99-101ه؟. Abstract: This article aims to explain the political role of Omar bin Abdul Aziz in uniting the nation in the Umayyad era and his position on the opposition movements to the state that were aimed at eliminating it because it was hated by some sects, especially the Shiites and the Kharijites ... as they made several revolutions against it for days The Umayyads, when the era of the Umayyad caliph was hardly devoid of revolutionary movements, so that this state did not enjoy complete stability and complete security except during his reign. How was Omar bin Abdul Aziz able to convince the opposition movements that were a thorn in the throat of the Umayyads from the beginning of their caliphate? And what impact did this have on the general situation? Umayyad state? Was the manner in which Omar bin Abdul Aziz dealt with opposition movements, especially the Alawites (Ahl al-Bayt) a reason for the beginning of the emergence of the Abbasid da'wa in Houmima, taking advantage of the atmosphere of tolerance that Omar bin Abdul Aziz spread during the period of his caliphate 99-101 AH?
