الملخص
نتطرق من خلال هذه الورقة لمنهجية استخدام الشاهد التوضيحي في قاموس وبستر وطريقة توظيفه، وجميع المعطيات التي أحاطت بعملية التحرير وكان لها الدور المباشر في تحديد طريقة تعامل فريق التحرير مع هذا المكون المعجمي وتضمينه المتن كماًّ ومنهجا، إضافة إلى الجدل الذي حصل حول مستوى لغة الشواهد ومصادر الاستشهاد ومن يصح الاقتباس عنهم، والإطار الزمني للاستشهاد، وأزمة الهوية في المحتوى اللغوي للمعجم. La présente recherche porte sur la méthodologie de présentation des citations du troisième dictionnaire international de Webster et la réalité de l'existence de citations illustratives. Et toutes les données accompagnant le processus d’édition, et avait eu un rôle direct dans la détermination de la manière dont l’équipe éditoriale a traité ce composant du lexique. Ainsi que la controverse sur le niveau de langage des citations et des sources de citations et sur qui citer, le calendrier des citations et la crise d’identité dans la sélection du contenu linguistique du dictionnaire. This present research addresses the methodology of presenting quotes in "webster’s third international dictionary" and the reality of the existence of illustrative quotations. And all the data accompanying the editing process and had a direct role in determining how the editorial team dealt with this lexicon component. As well as the controversy over the level of the language of citations and sources of citation and who can we quote from, the timeframe of citations, and the identity crisis in selecting the linguistic content of the dictionary.
