الملخص

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التطرق لدور عمال النقل بمقاطعتي إفريقيا البروقنصلية وموريطانيا القيصرية في نشاط النقل، وظروفهم المهنية حسب كل فئة من ملاك وسائل النقل بنوعيها، والناقلون لتلك الوسائل والحمالين،ودور السلطات الرومانية في تنظيم نشاطهم من خلال مرافقتهم من جهة ومراقبتهم من جهة أخرى في عملهم . إن هذه الفئة الإجتماعية التي عملت في مجال النقل، قد اختلفت وضعيتهم المهنية والاجتماعية حسب مراتبهم فمنهم من عاش حياة الرفاهية خاصة مع بداية التواجد الروماني كملاك السفن، ومنهم من عانى من مشقة العمل و صعوباته كالناقلين والحمالين، وهذا راجع لنوعية الطرق ووسائل النقل و حمولاتها، وتعامل السلطات الرومانية اتجاه أولئك الناقلون المنتمين للمقاطعتين خلال العهد الإمبراطوري الأعلى. الكلمات المفتاحية: Abstract: This study aims to address the role of transport workers in the two provinces of Africa, the Proconsulari And Mauretania Caesarea in the transport activity, and their professional conditions according to each category of owners of both types of means of transport, and the carriers of those means and porters, and the role of the Romanian authorities in organizing their activity by accompanying them on the one hand and monitoring them on the other hand in their work. This social group that worked in the field of transport, their status differed Professional and social according to their ranks, some of them lived a life of luxury, especially with the beginning of the Roman presence as ship owners, and some of them suffered from the hardship and difficulties of work as transporters and porters, and this is due to the quality of roads and means of transport and their loads, and the Roman authorities dealt with those carriers belonging to the two provinces during the higher imperial era.
