Factors Affecting The Foreign Direct Investment Decision In Turkey During The Period (1995-2019)

Abstract

The objective of this research paper is to analyze the impact of factors (net foreign direct investment flows, number of researchers in research and development, number of workers, machinery and transportation equipment) on choosing the location of the investment project and the investor’s d ecision in Turkey during the period (1995-2019) by using multiple linear regression models. The results revealed that there is a significant and positive effect of the added value of the Engines and Transport on the level of FDI in Turkey, whereas, there is a negligible effect of the number of Scientist (per million persons) and number of workers on the FDI.
