Résumé

The objective of our present article tries to describe the parameters of analysis of cultural diversity in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. We will first analyze the thorny notion of the term culture. Secondly, we will study the different parameters that are deduced from the analysis of culture, which are: tolerance and understanding of everything that is strange to us in the face of our way of conceiving and perceiving the world. The cultural comparison that has been a form of intercultural approach from the didactic point of view; however, we cannot lose sight of the dangers involved in an analysis of the culture made on a comparative basis and whose object is to confront facts or behaviors between the culture of origin and the target culture. Also, in this study we will dwell on a reflection on the study of culture from an intercultural and multicultural perspective. This has favored, on the one hand, new methodological positions based on the existing differences between the norms of conduct that govern one society versus another, and, on the other hand, it has facilitated another dimension in teacher training and in the creation of new teaching projects.
