الملخص
Globalization is one of the most economic controversial phenomena, although it has passed away, it still represents a great deal of uncertainty and complexity in both its manifestations and theatrical content. This uncertainty led to launch many debates related to this term: whether globalization contribute better homogeneity or deepen inequalities and differences; whether it is the continuity of the gap growth between the rich and the poor; whether it is emanating from one major sources, or from multiple overlapping one, in addition to the direction that globalization will take in the future. This article main objective is to treat all these issues, standing at the origin and use of globalization term, as well as explaining the historical development of the phenomenon and reviewing the circumstances that paved the way for its appearance, with a highlight of different risks and threats which globalization is comforted to.
