Institutions, Trade Openness And Economic Growth In Transition Economies

Abstract

This article attempts to examine the impact of institutional quality and trade openness on economic growth. To do this, we used panel data for 10 countries in transition (CEECs) over the period 2002-2018. The results confirmed that institutional quality and trade openness have a positive and statistically significant impact on long-term economic growth.
