دعم جنوب أفريقيا لروديسيا الجنوبية في مواجهة العقوبات الاقتصادية ( 66-1979)

الملخص

أعلن إيان سميث رئيس وزراء روديسيا الاستقلال من جانب واحد عن بريطانيا في 15 نوفمبر 1965، ولذلك واجه عقوبات اقتصادية صعبه فرضتها ضده الأمم المتحدة في عام 1966، ولكنه لم يهتم بأمر العقوبات المفروضة و حمله المقاطعة التي يتعرض لها وذلك بفضل الدعم المقدم له من جنوب أفريقيا، حيث اعتبرها شريك اقتصادي عوضاً عن بريطانيا، واستخدم موانيها لاستيراد وتصدير بضائعه تحت ستار جنوب أفريقيا عن طريق استخدام سلسلة من الوسطاء وترتيبات المقايضة وتزوير شهادات المنشأ. كما قامت جنوب افريقيا بإمداد روديسيا باحتياجاتها من النفط بكميات كانت كافية لتقليل اثر العقوبات النفطية، وبمرور الوقت ، لم تعد العقوبات تشكل تهديدًا بل أصبحت روتينية. when Ian Smith, Prime Minister of Rhodesia, declared a Unilateral Independence from Britain on November 15, 1965, He faced several difficult economic sanctions as a result and which was imposed by the United Nations in 1966, however he did not care about these imposed sanctions and accompanied boycott that due to the provided support from South Africa which he considered an economic partner and replacement for of Britain, while he used its ports to import and export goods under the guise of South Africa by using a series of intermediaries, arrangements and forging certificates of origin. South Africa also supplied Rhodesia with its needed oil supply in quantities that were sufficient to reduce the impact of the oil sanctions. Over time, the sanctions no longer constituted a threat but rather became routine.
