The Dramatic, Absurd Reality In Endgame Looks Back In Anger

Authors : Belaid Mohammed Amin . Hamza Reguig Mouro Wassila .

Abstract

The meaninglessness of existence and the relationship of art to existence inspire a new way to discuss the themes of everyday life, starting from the first sip of coffee and the gentleness of sunlight reaching the dreariness of night and its irresistible atmosphere. This paper aims to discuss the undefined localization of meaning in both the absurd and realism. It also sheds light on some of their differences through the themes of love, passion and time particularly. The explanatory part relies also on Camus’s assumptions. The practical one is based mainly on Osborne’s Look Back in Anger and Beckett’s Endgame.
