الملخص

يعالج المقال جانبا مهما من حياة المصلح إبراهيم أبي اليقظان، المتعلق بإشرافه على تجربة إصلاحية رائدة في منطقة وادي مزاب متمثلة في المجهودات التي قدمها الشيخ في مجال البعثات العلمية إلى الخارج، وبالتحديد تونس التي كانت تشهد انتشار المدارس العصرية، وهذا ما أدى بالشيخ إلى اختيار هذه الوجهة، وقام بأدوار الدعم والتأطير لهذه البعثات والوقوف في وجه المعارضين المحليين، ومحاربة الجمود الفكري المسيطر على الذهنيات في وادي مزاب، فكان هذا الاتجاه الإصلاحي للشيخ أبي اليقطان نابعا من إدراكه أن عملية النهوض بالأمة لا تكون إلا بإصلاح الأفراد علميا وخلقيا وفق أسس وركائز عصرية حديثة.Abstract: The article deals with an important aspect of the life of reformer Ibrahim Abi Al-Yaqzan, who oversaw a pioneering reform experiment in Wadi Mazab region, represented by the Sheikh's efforts in the field of scientific missions abroad, namely Tunisia, which witnessed the spread of modern schools. This is what led sheikh to choose this destination an has played the roles of support and framing of these missions and stand in the face of local opponents, and the fight against intellectual stagnation controlling the minds in the valley of Mazab, it was the reformist direction to Sheikh Abu al-yaqzan stems from his realization that the process of the advancement of the nation is only the reform of individuals scientifically and morally according to modern foundations and pillars.
