البيئة والتنمية المستدامة في العراق – الواقع – والآثار الاقتصادية

الملخص
عرفت التنمية المستدامة بأنها "التنمية التي تُلبي احتياجات الحاضر دون المساوَمة على قدرة الأجيال القادمة في تلبية احتياجاتهم الخاصة" أي التنمية القائمة على استغلال الموارد بالشكل الأمثل لتلبية حاجة الحاضر دون المساس بقدرات الأجيال القادمة , وتندرج تحت هذا المصطلح عدة ركائز أهمها (الحفاظ على سلامة البيئة ، وإرضاء الحاجات الإنسانية الرئيسة ، وتحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية ، وتوفير التكافل المجتمعي المتعدد) . وكان أيضا من مخرجات هذا التعريف إدراك أن التنمية المستدامة تشمل عدداً من المجالات المتنوعة ، وهذه المجالات ذات قيمة ايكولوجية واقتصادية واجتماعية , و أصبحت هذه التنمية اليوم الأساس لعملية التنمية في دول العلم اجمع . والعراق لازال بعيد عن تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بسبب جملة من الأسباب السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية فضلا عن ضبابية السياسات الاقتصادية , وأيضا ما تعرضت له البيئة العراقية من تدهور واستنزاف لمواردها كل ذلك جعل العراق أمام تحديات تعيق تنفيذ إستراتيجية التنمية المستدامة لتحقيق الرفاهية للأجيال الحالية مع الحفاظ على مقدرات الأجيال القادمة . present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs,” meaning development based on optimizing the use of resources to meet the needs of the present without compromising the capabilities of future generations. All this has made Iraq face challenges that hinder the implementation of the sustainable development strategy to achieve the well-being of current generations while preserving the capabilities of generations Coming
