Abstract
The energy has always been an area of concern for natural gas fields in Siberia in the Soviet Union brought forth much interest from Western Europe. One of the World4s natural gas reserves are located in Soviet territory. This country has in relatively short period of time became a major producer and exporter. A construction project of a natural gas pipeline was settled in the early 1980's between the Soviet Union and some major countries in Western Europe.
