الملخص
This research seeks to present the issue of language as a tool for national identity, and the state of lack of affiliation with which Algerian literature written in the French language lives. It is literature written in the language of the enemy to express his lack of affiliation with this enemy, but more than that, expressing the pain and tragedies that befell him because of him that enemy Who did not gain from his revolution against him except his tongue. It also highlights the Algerian cultural specificity, so that the novel is a mechanism of forming a cultural identity.
