الملخص
يكتسي موضوع الإساءة للمقدسات الدينية أهمية بالغة لما لهذه المقدسات من تأثير في حياة المجتمعات وارتباطها الوثيق بمعتقدات تلك الشعوب، وعلى هذا الأساس أدرك المجتمع الدولي الأهمية البالغة للمقدسات الدينية على اعتبار أنها تراث مشترك للإنسانية جمعاء، فجرم الأفعال التي تشكل اعتداء على المقدسات والرموز الدينية سواء كانت هذه الأفعال مادية كالتخريب أو الاتلاف أو معنوية كتشويه صورتها أو ازدراءها، ومن هذا المنطلق جاءت ورقتنا البحثية هذه لمعالجة نقطة مهمة وأساسية تمثلت في التطرق إلى تشويه صورة الإسلام بين مقتضيات القانوني الدولي ومتطلبات حرية التعبير. The issue of insulting religious sanctities is extremely important because of the impact of these sanctities on the lives of societies and their close connection with the beliefs of those peoples, and on this basis the international community has realized the great importance of religious sanctities as they are the common heritage of all humanity, so criminalizing acts that constitute an assault on religious sanctities and symbols, whether they are These acts are materialistic, such as sabotage, destruction, or moral, such as distorting its image or contempt, and from this standpoint our research paper came to address an important and fundamental point, which was to address the distortion of the image of Islam between the requirements of international law and the requirements of freedom of expression
