الملخص
ملخص: تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تسليط الضوء على أهم المزايا و الشروط و المهارات الواجب توفرها في أخصائي مكتبات الاطفال باعتباره المسؤول الأساسي عن عملية اختيار المجموعات في المكتبات العامة للأطفال،مع تحديد طبيعة المجموعات التي يتم اختيارها و الواجب توفرها في هذا النوع من المكتبات،و هو ما يستوجب التعرف على مهام أخصائي مكتبات الاطفال بشكل مفصل و تحديد بعض الاختلافات بينه و بين أخصائي المكتبات بصفة عامة. و يمكن القول أن مسؤولية اختيار المجموعات في المكتبات العامة للأطفال توكل بشكل أساسي لأخصائي مكتبات الاطفال كعنصر أساسي في هذا النوع من المكتبات.
