الملخص
إذا كانت الدول تعمل على وحدة شعوبها اقتصادياً وسياسياً؛ فإن الدول الإسلامية أولى بهذا لأنها تملك الأصول الراسخة التي تقوم الوحدة على أساسها، بجانـب ثوابـت وحدة العقيدة والشريعة والعبادات والأخلاق والمبادئ، وهي مجموع الروابط التي تقـوم عليها وحدة الأمة الإسلامية. حيث تواترت النصوص الشرعية الآمـرة بالوحدة، المحافظة على الائتـلاف، الناهية عن التفرق والاختلاف، حيث أمر والله عباده من خلالها بالوحدة، ونهاهم عن التفرق والتنازع وأوجب عليهم الاعتصام بحبله المتين ليتم بذلك الاجتماع وتتوحد الأمة. والوحدة من مقاصد الشريعة الإسلامية، وهي مفهوم مقتبس من عقيدة التوحيـد، فأمتنا أمة توحيد واتحاد، كما وضح رسولنا الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم دعائم الإخاء والمساواة والعدالـة في هذه العقيدة التي بلَّغها عن رب العالمين.
