The Impact Of Smes On The Unemployed In Algeria From 2003 To 2017

Abstract
The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of the evolution of the number of SMEs on the unemployed number in Algeria during the period of 2003-2017.To this end the study uses the available semi-annual data from the Algerian ministry of industry and mines, and the World Bank. for this, we used the ARDL model which gives us more efficient and accurate results. the test showed that there is a co-integration between the variables which are included in the model. The study also found that there is a direct and positive relationship between the number of SMEs and unemployed number in long term, and a negative relationship between the variables in the short term.
