The Fintech Landscape And Financial Inclusion In The Arab World

Abstract

Technology is changing the landscape of the financial sector, increasing access to financial services in profound ways. These changes have been in motion for several years, affecting all countries in the world. Most Arab citizens are still formally unbanked and digital finance is seen as a powerful tool to improve financial inclusion in Arab countries. This paper aims to demonstrate the current state of financial inclusion and digital finance in the Arab world, explore benefits of fintech and identify potentialities that exist for using digital technology in Arab countries .
