الملخص
يعالج هذا البحث أنموذجا من تاريخ العلاقات العلمية الوطيدة بين شرق العالم الإسلامي وغربه، من خلال تتبع حركة العلماء الغاربة في الشام عامة، ودمشق تحديدا. وذلك في مجالات علمية متنوعة، كالعقيدة واللغة والفقه والتصوف... ويحصي عددا من العلماء الذين كان لهم إسهام كبير في الحركة العلمية والثقافية. كما بحث عن جهودهم في خدمة المجتمع الدمشقي في مجالات اجتماعية مختلفة، كالقضاء والحسبة والتدريس. This research deals with a model from the history of the close scientific relations between the East and West of the Islamic world, by tracing the movement of islamic Western scholars in the Levant in general, and Damascus in particular. And that is in various scientific fields such as belief, language, “fiqh” and mysticism ... and a number of scholars who have had a major contribution to the scientific and cultural movement are counted in it. He also searched for their efforts in serving the Damascene community in various social fields, such as judiciary, “hisbah” and teaching
