الملخص
The ECOWAS experience in conflict resolution in West Africa is one of the leading international experiences in this field considered the first organization with an economic interest that worked to expand its powers to include political and security issues, especially for the relationship of these issues to economic development, this study tries to assess the limits of the effectiveness of the role ECOWAS in settling disputes in the West African region by highlighting the organization's security approach to resolving the crisis in Guinea-Bissau
