This article explores the state of the Church and the religious life in England prior to the Religious Revival, the rise of the Evangelical Movement and the subsequent foundation of the Church Missionary Society and its early missionary activity in the Muslim world. This article highlights the early interests of the CMS in starting a Mission to Muslims. Its importance lies in highlighting the CMS’ Euthanasia policy during the first half of the twentieth century. The present article’s objectives are to explore the CMS Mission’s Christian design for the conversion of Muslims. The research method adopted is the qualitative, chronological and thematic approach.
