La Réception Du Cinéma Dans Un Milieu Contraint : La Lecture Délibérative Des Films De La Nouvelle Génération En Algérie

Résumé : Dans son rapport avec l’oeuvre filmique, le spectateur entrerait dans une logique de coopération interprétative avec cette oeuvre. Le spectateur s’appuierait sur un capital préalable de connaissances et de codes culturels. Il développerait des horizons d’attente, qui lui permettraient d’être attentif aux signes qu’il doit reconnaitre et identifier dans l’oeuvre filmique. Qu’en est-il du spectateur algérien ? La réception du cinéma en Algérie serait-elle affectée par les contextes culturels et sociopolitiques, peut-on pour autant nous demander si la réception est déterminée par l’espace social ? Aussi, dans le contexte particulier post décennie noire en Algérie, existent-ils des aspects sociétaux et culturels particuliers qui exercent un impact sur la réception du film ? Le présent article tente de répondre à ces questions en proposant un outil méthodologique d’analyse de la réception du film de cinéma : La lecture délibérative. Cette dernière s’intéresse à la réception d’un film et au débat qu’il suscite dans un espace public. Elle met en relief aussi bien les enjeux conventionnels du débat que les enjeux sociopolitiques et culturels. La démarche proposée essaye d’allier des concepts et théories sémiotiques à des méthodes et outils dits sociologiques pour analyser la réception d’un court métrage de fiction algérien par un public constitué. Abstract: In his relationship with the filmic work, the viewer enters a logic of interpretative cooperation with this work. The spectator would rely on a prior capital of knowledge and cultural codes. He would develop horizons of waiting, which would allow him to be attentive to the signs he must recognize and identify in the filmic work. What about the Algerian viewer? Would the reception of cinema in Algeria be affected by cultural and socio-political contexts? Can we ask ourselves if the reception is determined by the social space? Also, in the particular context post black decade, in Algeria, are there particular societal and cultural aspects that have an impact on the reception of the film? This article attempts to answer these questions by proposing a methodological tool to analyze the reception of the (cinematographic) film: The deliberative reading. The latter is interested in the reception of a film and the debate it arouses in a public space. It highlights both conventional issues of debate and socio-political and cultural issues. The proposed approach tries to combine semiotic concepts and theories with so-called sociological methods and tools to analyze the reception of a short film of Algerian fiction by a constituted public.
