الملخص
ملخص: تأخذ كل من اللغة والدين دورا مهما وخطيرا في تكوين المجتمع والحفاظ على استقرار هويته وكينونته، ومنحه قوة المدافعة أمام إرادات الغزو ومحاولات الهيمنة، وفي القرن التاسع عشر الميلادي تجلت هذه المحاولات في الموقف العدائي الذي أبداه الاستعمار الفرنسي تجاه اللغة العربية والإسلام في الجزائر، سعيا منه إلى تحقيق جملة من الأهداف الاستراتيجية، وعلى رأسها دوام السيطرة على المقدرات البشرية والمادية للشعب الجزائري، ومن مظاهر العناية الإلهية بهذا البلد أن قيض له رجالا فقهوا مفهوم الأمة ومقومات كينونتها وبذلوا الجهود في الإصلاح الديني واللغوي في الجزائر، وعلى رأس هؤلاء الرجال الإمام عبد الحميد بن باديس، الذي كانت له جهود مشكورة في هذا المجال، سعى هذا البحث إلى بيانها في إطار جغرافيتها التاريخية وراهنيتها اليوم، لأن التاريخ كثيرا ما يعيد نفسه، والاستفادة من عِبَرِه ومواعظه ضرورة مجتمعية أكثر من يحمل عبئها المثقفون في المجتمع. Abstract : Both language and religion play a prominent and significant role in shaping the society, preserving its identity and existence, and providing power to withstand invaders’ intentions, together with dominance attempts. The attempts were up to surface in the XIX Century (19th B.C.) with the hostile attitude showed by the French colonizer against Arabic and Islam in Algeria. The aim was to achieve a set of strategic goals among which was the perpetual dominance over both human and material wealths of the Algerian nation. Hence, one aspect of the God’s Providence, for this nation, is that He has preordained reliable men who grasped the “Nation” notion, apprehended its fundamentals of existence, and made steady endeavors regarding the religious and linguistic reform in Algeria. Amongst those men was Abdul- Hamid Ben Badis who had noticeable ventures in this regard. This paper aims at shedlinghting the latter in their historical-geographic framework as well as their current situation. Since it is claimed: “History usually repeats itself”, it is the community responsibility to comprehend the lesson especially for elits who are charged with this mission.
