الملخص
الملخص: يدور موضوع المقال حول التاريخ المحلي لمنطقة جيجل من خلال جريدة لورفياي جيجليان، وذلك من سنة 1934 إلى سنة 1950، هذه الجريدة التي أولت اهتمامها لمنطقة جيجل عن طريق ما كانت تنشره على صفحاتها. كما خصصت لها حيزا مهما ضمن مواضيعها الأساسية لمناقشة قضايا الاستعماري الفرنسي. وبالرغم من أن الجريدة مصنفة ضمن المصادر الفرنسية المحضة، وخطها الإعلامي قائم بصورة جلية على الدفاع عن مصالحها واتجاهاتها السياسية مع الترويج لأفكارها الاستعمارية، إلا أن ضرورة قلة المادة العلمية التي تخص التاريخ المحلي لمختلف المناطق الجزائرية بصفة عامة، ومنطقة جيجل بصفة خاصة، فرض علينا اللجوء إلى مثل هذه المصادر، واستقاء معلومات منها وفق ما يمليه المنهج العلمي. وفي ضوء ما تقدم، ومن أجل إعطاء هذه الجريدة جزءا من البحث والدراسة، ارتأينا التعريف بها، وتبيين مدى مساهمتها في تناول التاريخ السياسي و الثقافي لمنطقة جيجل. ABSTRACT : This article focuses mainly on the local history of the region of Jijel through "Le Réveil Djidjellien" in its issues published from 1934 to 1950. This newspaper paid attention to the region of Jijel through articles, adverts and news it published on its pages. It also allocated a space for this region among its core topics; i.e. those related to the French colonial aspect. Although the newspaper is classified among purely French sources, and that its editorial line was clearly based on defending France’s interests and political trends while promoting its colonial ideas; the lack of scientific material concerning the local history of various Algerian regions in general, and the region of Jijel, in particular, made it necessary for us to resort to such sources to obtain information according to a consistent, neither biased, nor exaggerated, methodology. In the light of what is abovementioned, and in order to grant this newspaper a part of research and study, we preferred to introduce this newspaper and to show to what extent it contributed in dealing with the political and cultural history of the region of Jijel.
