Abstract
The present work aimed to measure the performance indicators of SMEs in the wilaya of Oran in Algeria, as well as the explanation of the characteristics and divergences between the different sectors of activities of the companies surveyed. It focuses on a specific unit of analysis, namely SMEs in the sectors: "manufacturing industries, buildings and public works, and import-export", whose objective is to explain their financial difficulties simultaneously with the maintenance market shares at national level, this is what led us to question the link between these two realities, to answer the following main question: What performance of SMEs in the wilaya of Oran?
