الملخص
This study deals with the importance of scientific popularization in acquisition of scientific knowledge, where it treats the issue of popularization of scientific texts. we must mention that popularized scientific texts allow non-specialized readers to react with scientific texts. Subsequently, scientific popularization simplifies specialized terms on the basis of some means like books, magazines, scientific clubs, and media, in addition to another technics such as reformulation (rewording), metaphors and examples…ect To enrich this paper, I touched on the idea of scientific popularization and competences that the popularizer must have, and the big problem that can make his work more difficult which is scientific term, moreover its important objectives. We also talked about scientific popularization as intralingual translation, where we firstly defined the translation and scientific popularization as two specialties to convey information for non-specialized readers. This makes us to think that scientific popularization is an intralingual translation, while this last is used to translate linguistic signs by others inside the same language. In other words, it is one of reformulation (rewording) types like scientific popularization.
