الملخص
تولي المجتمعات الإنسانية أهمية كبرى لتربية طفل ما قبل المدرسة، وتسعى إلى تطويرها باستمرار، وتحظى المربية بالقسط الأوفر في ذلك من حيث اختيارها، وإعدادها، وتدريبها، وتطوير أدائها، ذلك لأنه مهما بلغ مستوى التربية المقدمة لطفل ما قبل المدرسة من طموح وحداثة ومهما اشتملت على مناهج حديثة ووسائل تكنولوجية متطورة فإنه لن تحقق النجاح المطلوب إلا بوجود مربية كفئة، ولهذا احتلت عملية تدريبها أثناء الخدمة مكاناً بارزاً في أولويات تطور الفكر التربوي المعاصر في معظم دول العالم، مما أدى إلى تنوع اتجاهات التدريب التي يمكن للبرامج التدريبية أثناء الخدمة من اعتمادها.
