A Suggested Framework To Develop The Role Of Auditors In Activating The Oecd/g20 Principles Of Corporate Governance

Authors : Ikhlef Safia .

Abstract

Changes and developments in the economic environment fundamentally affect the quality of services provided by auditors, as the development of companies led to a widening of the circle of stakeholders in it, and it has become necessary to provide accurate, honest and transparent information to these groups, in pursuit of this, the OECD has issued new principles of corporate governance called The OECD/G20 Corporate Governance Principles. Consequently, it was necessary to develop the auditing profession to acclimatize with these changes, in order to achieve the trust, transparency and accountability, to encourage investment, financial stability and work integrity.
