The Reality Of Family Businesses, The Nature Of Ownership & Challenges Of Good Management

Abstract

The quality and privacy of family businesses lies on the composition of their owners, or board members. as the importance of ownership quality, in this type of institutions that makes up and represent the majority of private sector worldwide. Accordingly, we discussed in this analytical research paper the compositions of individual and collective ownership in family businesses, as an interesting importance in both of performance & activity of their strategies that allows these businesses to achieve their goals. We also highlighted the circumstances and challenges, and how good governance can reduce it and make it just a temporary stage. we have reached as results that individual and collective ownership are two influential factors on family firm’s governance, as also as a competitive advantage to these firms. In addition to this, we reached how much familial ownership is important for the strategy of family owned business to survive and prosper.
