الملخص: بهدف تحقيق أداء جامعي متميز، تعمل الجامعات على تطبيق كل ما من شأنه أن يساهم في ذلك، ومن بين الحلول التي من شأنها المساهمة في تحقيق أداء جامعي متميز، هو تطبيق حوكمة الجامعات، حيث تلزم هذه الحوكمة جميع الأطراف في الجامعة بالمشاركة في إتخاذ القرار، توفير المعلومات لجميع الأطراف فيها بشفافية، تحديد مسؤوليات وواجبات كل طرف فيها، وبالتالي المساهمة في تحقيق أداء جامعي متميز. يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعريف بحوكمة الجامعات وبالأداء الجامعي المتميز، وكيف تساهم حوكمة الجامعات من خلال مبادئها في تحقيق أداء جامعي متميز. توصلت هذه الدراسة إلى نتائج منها: - أن الالتزام بمبدأ مشاركة الهيئات الإدارية والأكاديمية في مجال التسيير وفي مجال تغيير المناهج والبرامج التعليمية سيسهم في تحقيق أداء جامعي متميز؛ - كذلك الالتزام بمبدأ العدالة والمساواة بين مختلف الإطارات العاملة بالجامعات هو الآخر سيسهم في تحقيق أداء جامعي متميز. Abstract In order to get prominent university performance, universities are working to implement everything that would put up to that, and among the solutions that play a part in achieving distinguished university performance is the application of university governance, as this governance forces all parties in the university to participate in decision-making, Providing information to all parties there transparently, defining the responsibilities and duties of each party therein, and thus contributing to achieving distinguished university performance. The purpose of this research paper is to introduce universities' governance and outstanding university performance, and how university governance through its principles contributes to achieving distinguished university performance. This study reached results, including: - Adherence to the principle of the participation of administrative and academic bodies in the field of management and in the field of changing curricula and educational programs will contribute to achieving distinguished university performance; - As well as, adherence to the principle of justice and equality among the various frameworks working in universities, will also contribute to achieving distinguished university performance.
