الملخص
الهدف من هذه الورقة البحثية هو الكشف عن مجالات الترجمة السمعية البصرية، وذلك من خلال تحديد مفهومها، ونشأتها، والاشارة إلى أهم أنواعها؛ ثم التركيز كذلك على بدايات الترجمة المسرحية في الوطن العربي من جهة، والوقوف عند المحطات الرئيسية في مسألة صعوبة ترجمة النص المسرحي العربي. ولعل أهم نتائج البحث تكمن في الكشف عن الدور المحوري الذي لعبته الترجمة السمعية البصرية في صورة الترجمة المسرحية، وسعيها لتحقيق التكامل بين مرتكزات البناء الفني والفكري لدى المؤلف المسرحي الذي تقمص دور المترجم، ناهيك عما حققته تجربة ترجمة النص المسرحي العربي باعتبارها عاملا أساسيا ومرحلة هامة في تاريخ تجارب الـتأصيل المسرحي؛ ومواكبتها للمسارح العالمية.
