الملخص
تأملات في الشخصية التاريخية للشيخ المهدي البوعبدلي وخصائص كتاباته التراثية من خلال آثاره د.خير الدين يوسف شترة قسم التاريخ والحضارة الإسلامية- جامعة الشارقة الملخص: إن غايتنا من هذه الدراسة هو محاولة فهم خصائص الإسهام التراثي والفكري للشيخ (المهدي البوعبدلي)، فهو كان من داعمي الحركة الإصلاحية السلفية التي عرفتها الجزائر منذ مطلع القرن العشرين الميلادي رغم أنه نشأ وترعرع في أحضان الطرق الصوفية بزاوية والده (ببطيوة) ومدرسة مازونة، كما كان منفتحاً على المدرسة الأدبية والتاريخية الأوروبية بفضل إتقانه الفرنسية، وهو الدارس بجامع الزيتونة. سيُسهم هذا البحث في فهم خصائص الكتابة التاريخية عند الشيخ المهدي البوعبدلي من خلال البحث في قواعد وأسس منهجه البحثي في أسلوب الكتابة وطريقة الإلقاء، وأمانته العلمية في النقل والتثبت، ودقته في الفهم والاستنتاج، وانشغاله بالإضافة والتجديد، وعليه فإن هذه الدراسة ستتناول جوانب من الإسهامات الفكرية والتاريخية والعلمية والأدبية ....للشيخ البوعبدلي وأثرها في إحياء التراث الوطني الجزائري، وهذا اعتمادًا على مجمل آثاره المطبوعة والمخطوطة تأليفاً ونشراً وتحقيقاً وعناية. وعموما تقوم منهجيّة البحث على منهجين (البحث التاريخي والتحليلي) بعيدًا عن الأحكام المسبقة، وذلك بما بتوافق مع مقتضيات الدراسة. وفي نهاية الدراسة خلصنا إلى أن إسهامات الشيخ البوعبدلي وأضرابه قد أرست أسس المدرسة التاريخية الجزائرية المهتمة بالتحقيق والتأريخ .. وأن من مصادر تكوين شخصيته التاريخية هي شرف نسبه، وعراقة عائلته وتجذرها في الإسهام الديني والعلمي والوطني، كما كان لتكوينه الزيتوني ورحلاته العلمية، وتشبعه بروح الفكر الصوفي أثر بارز في بناء هذه الشخصية. Reflections on the Works of Sheikh Mahdi Al-Bouabdali and His Life as a Historical Figure Abstract Sheikh Mahdi Al-Bouabdali was a staunch supporter of the Reformist Sufi Movement that spread in Algeria at the beginning of the 20th century. Early in his life, he was trained by the Sufi orders at his father’s lodge and the Mazouna School. Later on, he studied at the Zaytuna Mosque and became quite knowledgeable of the European literary and historical school thanks to his French proficiency. This paper aims to explore the unique characteristics of his work on history through a systemic analysis of the rules and traditions that informed his research methods and writing and lecturing style, his scientific integrity especially when transmitting and validating information, his accuracy in understanding and inferring different sources, and his preoccupation with innovation and renewal. Accordingly, this study will address aspects of the intellectual, historical, scientific and literary output of Sheikh Bouabdali and its effect on reviving the Algerian national heritage through a thorough review of the entirety of his intellectual legacy, whether printed or handwritten manuscripts of his own published works and those he edited, published or sponsored. This paper adopts a descriptive, historical, analytical research method that suits the scope and aims of the study. The paper concludes that Sheikh Al-Bouabdali’s intellectual contributions and ideas laid the foundations for the Algerian school of history, one which is concerned with investigation and historiography. Moreover, we have determined that he was greatly influenced by his Sufi religious upbringing, the intellectual pursuits of his family whether in the fields of religion, history or science, as well as his time as a student in Zaytuna Mosque and his scientific journeys.
