The Wâada Of Sidi Ahmed El Medjdoub In The Village Of Asla (naama- Algeria) From Historical Symbolism To Public Space For Expression

الملخص

This study focuses on new forms of contemporary public space, from the study of a popular wâada celebrated each year in Asla (W. de Naâma) by the Medjadba marabout tribe in honor of the founding grandfather Sidi Ahmed El Medjdoub. Also, the study is based on scientific approaches that are seeking today to identify the conditions for the emergence of public space, at a time when the link between the citizen and politics is becoming opaque. The specificity of our approach fits into the lighting of possibilities and capabilities of this annual wâada to create public counter-spaces through the discussions which take place among men under the Arab Kheamas open to the host public. Yet their actions are not limited to these classic actions. They also have in common that this public action gives them a great accessibility that allows the creation of “public spaces” that bind members through their action and deliberative communications. The study of the relationship of the public to the wâada then highlights the strength of the scénographic dimension and the need for the emotional dimension of the sacred place to explain the new forms of public space emergence. This research thus opens up prospects to identify new ways of managing public spaces in managed heritage fields in Algeria until now by the Tribes and Zawias.
