The State Of The Foreign Investment In Algeria: A Critical Analysis Of The Legal Framework During The Period 1962-2016

Abstract
The economic development is a constant debatable issue as its involves many factors in setting up its bases. In this context, different conceptions had been envisaged in an attempt to examine the best channels to ensure the well-being of individuals, increase economic performance and improve its competitiveness. One of the dynamic and crucial drivers of economic development is what is known by foreign direct investment especially in this era where the economies are considerably opened and highly interlinked. By this sense, the advantages of foreign investment to meet the development challenges are strictly conducted by how far the host economy is suitable to gain these advantages. This paper tends to analyze the legal aspect as one of the basic factors to benefit much from this international investment; and the research aspiration is to highlight the extent to which Algeria had maintained an appropriate environment for the foreign investment.
