الملخص
يتناول البحث جوانب من النظرية التوليدية التحويلية عند تشومسكي، وإسهامات علماء اللغة العربية القدماء في اللسانيات، وما انبثق عنها من تصوّرات للّغة ومناهجها. ركّزت على أهمّ النّقاط التي تجمع بين الطرفين، مع الفارق الزّمني بينهما، وفي ذلك إشارة واضحة لعبقريتهم وسبقهم في هذا الجانب، ثم أردفت الموضوع بدراسة تطبيقية للكفاية اللغوية، والتّنويه بالتّراث الزّاخر بالأبحاث من خلال مقاربة توضيحية لما جادت به القريحة العلمية في تشكيل العقل الإنساني. The research deals with aspects of Chomsky's transformative generative theory, the contributions of ancient Arabic linguists to linguistics, and the conceivations of language and its approaches. I focused on the most important points that unite the two parties, with the time difference between them, and in that is a clear indication of their genius and their precedence in this aspect, And it added the subject with an applied study of linguistic sufficiency, and indicating the rich heritage of research through an illustrative approach to what the scientific thought has been serious about forming the human mind.
