الملخص
أدرك العرب منذ أمد بعيد مدى أهمية الترجمة، ودورها في الانفتاح على "الآخر"، وتعرف ثقافته وحضارته للتواصل معه؛ إذ «يذكر مؤرخو نشأة العلوم الإنسانية وتطورها أنها بدأت في القرن الأول الهجري، ثم تطورت بعد ذلك نتيجة لعوامل متعددة، لتصل مداها إبان العصر العباسي، وبخاصة عهد المأمون...»1. وفي الوقت الذي أصبحت فيه أهمية الترجمة العلمية تتعاظم اليوم، أكثر من أي وقت مضى، نتيجة للانفجار المعرفي الكبير، والتقدم التكنولوجي الهائل في جميع مجالات الحياة، تعيش حركية الترجمة في البلاد العربية تعثرا كبيرا، وهذا على عكس ما يفرضه منطق العقل، الذي يحتم أن تولى الترجمة أولوية خاصة في العالم العربي، لكونه متلقّ للمعرفة العلمية أكثر منه منتجاً لها.- عبد الرحمن حسن العارف، حركة الترجمة اللغوية في المشرق العربي، مصر أنموذجا، ضمن كتاب: عبده بدوي شاعرا وناقدا، بأقلام مجموعة من الأساتذة، منشورات جامعة الكويت، كلية الآداب، قسم اللغة العربية، إشراف وتقديم: الدكتورة سعاد عبد الوهاب، فبراير 2007م، ص308. Abstract: Arabs have long recognized the importance of translation, and its role in openness to the "other", knowing his culture and civilization to communication with him. As Historians of the emergence/genesis and development of the human sciences mention that it began in the first century AH, and then evolved as a result of multiple factors to reach the range during the Abbasid era, in particular the era of El Maamoun.
