الملخص
يؤدي المرشدون البحريون عملهم في بيئة عمل صعبة وحساسة ذات ضغوط عالية، أين هامش الخطأ مهما كان بسيطا يمكن أن يؤدي إلى كارثة بحرية تكلف ملايين الدولارات وخسائر في الأرواح، كما قد تؤدي إلى كارثة بيئية يمتد أثرها سنوات وسنوات، والنتيجة مسؤولية مدنية ذات قيمة تعويضية لا طاقة له بها مع احتمال متابعات تأديبية وحتى جنائية. الهدف من الدراسة شرح وتحليل كيف قامت التشريعات البحرية بحماية المرشدين البحريين من هذه الضغوطات عن طريق تكريس نظام قانونيّ خاص فرضته الضرورات العملية التي يتميز بها العمل البحري بصفة عامة ومهنة الإرشاد بصفة خاصة.
